These paintings is done by Qiu Shihua, a notable Chinese landscape painter, and the painting of Qiu’s was taking inspiration from his Taotist practices, these serene and clam landscapes are not figurative nation scenes, but rather respresentations of intense contemplation that aim to evoke an essence of a memory.
